Proudly Made in NZ

We are proud of the fact that all our products are made in NZ, right here in our little workshop in Pukekohe, New Zealand.  We've worked hard to bring you quality products that are hand crafted (by us) so that we can honestly say "they are made in NZ with love".  There is a lot of pressure these days to keep costs down and sometimes businesses think the only way of doing this is to go off-shore.  Well, we feel differently and have discovered a very strong, supportive undercurrent amongst the New Zealand public.  They are sick of buying products that are not made in NZ and are prepared to pay a little extra for products that are made in NZ.  Take our Photo Blocks for example, we make each block by hand (Maria's clever husband has made a very efficient assembly line in our workshop), we cut them to length, we sand them, then we take them to a local painter who gives them a beautiful satin black finish, we clean them up (because they come back very dusty), then they are ready for you to create your very own personlised masterpiece.

Any items we can't make ourselves (because there is only two of us and only so manyhours in the day), we source out to local or New Zealand suppliers.  We try to 'keep it local' as much as possible as it saves a lot of time and we also like to support businesses in our local community (it also saves heaps of petrol :-) but it might also put a courier driver out of a job :-( sometimes we just can't win either way).  Our suppliers are chosen carefully so that we can deliver a product that we are proud to put our name on
