To become a Backyard Letter Consultant, all you need is access to a computer and lots of contacts.

All YOU do is spread the word about Backyard Letters - tell all your friends, family, facebook friends, blogs, chat forums, school mums, work colleagues, playgroups, network groups, etc. - anyone who has a Gift-giving or Home Décor Dilemma.  It's as easy as that!

Here's how it works:

  • We issue you with a unique Discount Code.  This will be unique to you and will be used to link your customer orders to you. 
  • Your friends, etc go on our website and when they are ready to order, they enter YOUR unique Discount Code number at the checkout.
  • They receive 20% discount off their order and YOU receive 20% of their order value as a Sale Referral Commission.
  • We send out the customer order.
  • Happy Gift-giver, Happy Gift-receiver and Happy Backyard Letter Consultant.

The customer places the order on the website at their leisure - you don't need to do anything other than pass on the Discount Code to them.  They use YOUR discount code (that part is important) which automatically attaches the sale to your account and commission record. They can use your Discount Code as often as they like - there is no expiry or limit!  We pay your commission directly into your bank account via internet banking once a month provided your commission value has accumulated to more than $50.    

You can promote your unique Discount Code any way you choose - on your facebook account, via email or leave on chat forums etc.  We can provide you with website buttons/graphics if you require or wish to use them on your own websites or blog spots, etc.   So if you have friends who are invited to weddings or birthdays, you will be able to suggest a great gift idea and earn a little at the same time!  We offer a growing range of products including Canvases, Mugs, Prints, ABC Book, Alphabet Poster as well as our ever popular Photo Only option.    

Advertising restrictions: You cannot advertise your unique Discount Code on Backyard Letters Facebook page.  However, we will introduce you on Facebook once you are set up and would be happy to promote you to anyone in your area via our Consultants page on our website.  No listings on Trademe or Sella - otherwise we will all be competing with each other! - You are, after all, just promoting your personal, unique Discount Code.
